How seats, AI credits, and plan changes work.
How does per-seat billing work?
Teams and Business are billed per seat, in EUR. You pick the number of seats at checkout (up to 20 on Teams, 100 on Business) and can change it any time from the billing portal — proration is handled for you.
What is the difference between monthly and annual?
Annual billing is 2 months free: €50/seat/year on Teams instead of €60, and €100/seat/year on Business instead of €120. The plan and features are identical; only the cadence and price change.
What are AI credits and how are they billed?
AI scans draw from prepaid, EUR-denominated credits. You top up in advance, your balance can never go negative, and there is no metered invoice at the end of the month. Unused credits expire 12 months after purchase.
What happens if I run out of AI credits?
AI scans pause with a clear "top up" message. Everything else keeps running — your allow lists, deny lists, content regex, and (on Business) DLP are unaffected because they run locally.
Can I start for free?
Yes. The Free plan gives 1 organization, 1 seat, and 1 domain with allow list, deny list, content regex — enough to prove the manifest and see the dashboard before you pay anything.
Which plan includes MCP?
MCP — the Model Context Protocol endpoint for Claude, Codex, Copilot, and GPT — is available on the Business plan. It lets your AI clients and agents run a WaverSec pre-send verdict before any email leaves.
Do you offer Enterprise plans?
Yes. Enterprise adds custom seat counts, custom domains, manual provisioning, and priority support on top of everything in Business. Contact us and we will tailor it to your organization.
Can I change or cancel my plan later?
Any time. Upgrades, downgrades, seat changes, and cancellation are all self-serve from the billing portal. Cancelling keeps your plan active until the end of the paid period, then drops you to Free.
